We’ve been lucky enough to work with STEM Ambassadors to build a robot that will represent the Haberdashers’ on April 1st. Ernie Prevost has been the brains and brawn behind our first prototype. Lots of “issues” with motor controllers have plagued the build thus far. But a cleaver modular system of levers and bolt on parts will enable us to swap over parts. A PS3 joystick provides elegant control with some clever PWM coding.
It’s a WiP – and lots of work to do with the sensors, motors, and silly cover!
